BrightCard Inc., based in Bethesda, MD, is specialized in the provision of smart card technologies to vertical industry solutions providers. BrightCard – the mobility experts

BrightCard has, in particular, developed unique expertise in the deployment of smart card systems in remote, mobile and temporary environments. This expertise is the result of the long operational experience gained by BrightCard’s sister company, ITN International, with whom BrightCard shares owners and technical resources. ITN International is specialized in credentialing, identification, and access control in the events industry. ITN issued its first smart cards in 1999, and is today the undisputed leader in smart card technology in the events industry. ITN has issued over 2 million smart cards at 550 different events, trade shows, and conferences, with an ability to issue cards at a rate of up to 20,000 per day. The cards can be encoded with extensive personal information, and are used to control access to a wide range of services and facilities. This extensive hands-on experience has given BrightCard unique experience is deploying mobile smart card systems, including card production/printing/encoding, portable servers, laptop enrollment stations, and handheld data verification devices.

BrightCard offers a wide range of services in mobile deployments of smart card related systems. We are particularly well-versed in the new technologies of RFID, contactless smart cards, NFC, and wireless service integration. We have unique expertise in the development and customization of software on PDAs, laptops, and smartphones destined to be operated in mobile and remote locations. We rent a wide range of specialized smart card equipment (including card printers, servers, laptops, PDAs) for short- or long-term deployments as required. Our staff provides on-site set-up and training services to ensure that client personnel are fully able to operate the systems on their own.
